Statistics
LA Animal Services reports official statistics through the monthly Woof Stat report. The following graphics highlight Year-to-Date (YTD) information and shows how the Department is trending when compared to the same time last year, while the latest month's report showcases how we're doing with an at-a-glance view.

When viewing the Woof Stat Report spreadsheets, the Department totals are reported on the first pages with shelter breakdowns on the subsequent pages.
Note: Minor variances in data reports are normal and stabilize over time. Variances result from closing or correcting records after the first of the month. These minor variances do not affect the overall trends conveyed in the reports. Corrections include: updating incorrect or missing outcome types or dates, removing duplicate records, and correcting user input errors discovered in routine data audits conducted by shelter supervisors and administrative staff.
