Los Angeles, February 16, 2022 – LA Animal Services would like to thank Petco Love for the $25,000 grant that will go towards lifesaving programs in 2022, that include the:
- Pet Food Pantry which is open weekly at three different sites in the City to provide support to pet owners in Los Angeles who need assistance in caring for their companion animals,
- Safety Net Foster which provides foster placement for pet owners who are temporarily unable to care for their pet due to a temporary difficulty and is an alternative to having to surrender their pet to the shelter,
- Kitten and Adult Animal Foster Program which places shelter animals into homes while looking for adoptive homes,
- Adoption supplies and post-Adoption support to provide adopters with some supplies to help welcome their new family member and provide some helpful tools.
“Petco Love’s continued support of LA Animal Services is a much appreciated partnership going into 2022,” said Dana Brown, General Manager for LA Animal Services. “This generous grant of $25,000 will go towards lifesaving programs, which will allow us to continue to provide care and treatment for the pets that are entrusted to us, while also providing services to our community such as the Pet Food Pantry, and Safety Net Foster program.”
