Los Angeles, February 10, 2023 – The Paula Kent Meehan Pet Care Foundation will sponsor the My Furry Valentine adoption event happening at our six LA Animal Services Centers on Saturday, February 11 and Sunday, February 12. During the My Furry Valentine weekend, the adoption fees for all dogs will be reduced by $50, which does not include the $20 licensing fee. Adoption fees for cats and kittens will be waived by the Paula Kent Meehan Pet Care Foundation.
“Visit any of our six Centers this weekend to meet your furry Valentine,” said Annette Ramirez, Interim General Manager for LA Animal Services. “We have amazing pets at all our Centers ready to make you fall in love.”
“It is our goal to find a home for every pet that’s in the LA City Shelters,” said Bill Crowe, Director of The Paul Kent Meehan Pet Care Foundation. He continued, “Now is the perfect time to find your new love!”
Dogs and cats adopted from LA Animal Services join their new families already spayed or neutered, vaccinated, licensed, and microchipped, and adopters receive a VCA Healthy Start Certificate, which provides up to $250 of follow up veterinary care within the first 14 days of adoption. In addition, canine companions adopted from LA Animal Services are also eligible for free dog training classes at the Paws for Life K9 Rescue People & Pet Innovation Center in Mission Hills, CA. Contact Info@pawsforlifek9.org for more details.
