LOS ANGELES, November 1, 2023 – LA Animal Services invites you to join us for the return of the Best Friends Super Adoption Weekend happening Saturday, November 4 and Sunday, November 5, at the historic LA State Park from 10am to 4pm. To encourage pet adoptions, LA Animal Services will be waiving adoption fees for dogs and cats at the event, and at all six LA City shelters during the two-day event, thanks to a generous grant from Petco Love.

After a four-year hiatus, the Best Friends Animal Society’s Super Adoption Event returns with more than 18 shelters, including LA Animal Services, and rescue groups participating in a weekend of lifesaving.

“We are excited to be a part of the Best Friends Super Adoption Weekend, which provides us with an additional venue to showcase the wonderful adoptable pets who are ready to be a part of your family,” said Staycee Dains, General Manager for LA Animal Services. “When people adopt a pet from a shelter, they give that animal a second chance in a loving home while helping to alleviate the increased overcrowding in our shelters.”
