Make this a September to Remember! Reduced adoption fees this weekend!

Bring home a new furry friend because there are many health benefits to having a pet in your life, from helping you stay active to lowering stress and blood pressure. To encourage Angelenos to adopt a pet, LA Animal Services will be offering the following special adoption events every weekend in September:

  • Sept. 14-15 & Sept. 21-22: September to Remember Adoption Weekend: Reduced adoption fees for dogs and cats
  • Sept. 28-29: The Pet Care Foundation's Basic Black Adoption Weekend: $50 off adoption fees for dogs and puppies, and waived adoption fees for cats and kittens with primarily black fur

LA Animal Services join their new families already spayed or neutered, vaccinated, licensed, and microchipped, and adopters receive a VCA Healthy Start Certificate, which provides up to $250 of follow up veterinary care within the first 14 days of adoption. In addition, canine companions adopted from LA Animal Services are also eligible for free dog training classes at the Paws for Life K9 Rescue People & Pet Innovation Center in Mission Hills, CA. Contact Info@pawsforlifek9.org for more details. You can view the wonderful dogs, cats, rabbits, and pocket pets who are ready to meet you and who are available for adoption in our Centers by going to laanimalservices.com/adopt.

If you can't adopt, consider fostering a pet. When you adopt or foster a canine buddy or feline friend, you not just save the life of that animal, but you will also free up a space for another dog or cat in need.
